About the Role
We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to perform the following job duties.
Requirements
Development and Enhancement of Data Analytics Platforms:
● Job Duty: Consulting on and designing predictive models, data analytics pipelines, and data-driven platforms to support decision-making for financial, operational, and marketing insights.
● Tasks Include:
○ Creating machine learning models, predictive algorithms, and data visualization dashboards using Python, R, and SQL.
○ Utilizing big data frameworks like Spark and Hadoop for data processing.
○ Implementing ETL processes and maintaining data pipelines on Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
○ Building cloud-based solutions on Azure for large-scale data analysis.
Environment, Tools, Technologies Used:
● Cloud Computing: Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform.
● Data Science Libraries: Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
● Data Visualization: Power BI, Tableau.
● Big Data Processing: Spark, Hadoop, Azure Synapse Analytics.
Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, and Model Building
● Job Duty: Analyzing large datasets to extract meaningful insights and patterns, supporting stakeholder decision-making with data-driven recommendations.
● Tasks Include:
○ Developing business intelligence dashboards, defining KPIs, and automating reports using Power BI and Azure Synapse.
○ Conducting statistical analysis, A/B testing, and time series forecasting for business insights.
○ Supporting data governance and data quality initiatives to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Environment, Tools, Technologies Used:
● Data Processing: Azure Data Lake, SQL, Apache Spark.
● Programming Languages: Python, R, SQL.
● Statistical Tools: Excel, Power BI, Jupyter Notebooks.
Data Engineering and Data Management
Job Duty: Building and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, and optimizing data storage and retrieval on Azure.
● Tasks Include:
○ Setting up data infrastructure on Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse.
○ Building ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and managing data warehouse architecture.
○ Coordinating with engineering teams for data model optimization and data integration.
Environment, Tools, Technologies Used:
● Data Management: SQL, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database.
● ETL Tools: Azure Data Factory, Apache NiFi.
● Version Control: Git, GitHub, Bitbucket.
Model Evaluation and Deployment
Job Duty: Deploying models into production, monitoring performance, and iterating on model improvements.
Tasks Include:
● Deploying models using Azure Machine Learning services.
● Monitoring model performance, fine-tuning algorithms, and retraining models for accuracy.
● Collaborating with DevOps for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Environment, Tools, Technologies Used:
● Model Deployment: Azure ML, Docker, Kubernetes.
● Monitoring Tools: Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus.
● CI/CD Tools: Azure DevOps, Jenkins.
Bachelor’s degree is required in Computer Science or Information Systems or Computer Information Systems OR education + experience which is equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or Computer Information Systems
